IT ALL BEGAN FROM LOVE FOR BIKE…
It was on a Sunday in February 2013, while it was snowing outside, that the idea of Derriereitalia came into being.
We were thinking about restoring a vintage bike, but in a very unique way. The bike had been bought the previous summer at a junk dealer while we were surfing the Internet looking for inspirations and spare parts.
We wanted a special, unique saddle, with a retro style and an aesthetically appealing taste, but we could not find anything we liked. Thus we thought of creating it ourselves, and the result was good, from there the idea of making saddles also for others.

Derriereitalia is a customized bike saddle, custom-made with a unique style detail.
Derriereitalia blends the taste for design with that of Italian craftsmanship, making saddles for bike lovers, coated with exclusive fabrics and designs.
Our goal is to meet customer’s growing interest in getting a custom-tailored product, so as to produce on your own bike a significant detail of original style.
REAL HAND MADE IN ITALY
Much has been said, much has already been seen and reviewed, and our mission is to “remix” different experiences and styles, blending them with the skills, care and techniques of craft products typical of the Made in Italy and Made in Veneto.

Our bike seats are totally handmade in Italy, on the back of our saddles we apply a Quality Control Mark and a Made in Italy With Love sticker.

DL_Derriere Luxury covers are High quality digital printing on artificial leather. Our saddles obtained the certifications regarding the colour fastness to sea water, to acid and alkaline perspiration, to artificial light and to damp rubbing and alcohol 90°.
Derriereitalia bike seats have been subjected to intensive wear tests that guarantee a long life.

Accessories for cool and urban customers, able to appreciate the high quality of Derriereitalia typical Italian handmade products.
Our creations are produced in neoprene, a technical and trendy rubber fabric that is very soft, elastic, waterproof, resistant and long-lasting. Neoprene is combined with eco-leather printed in sixteen special graphic patterns for DL_DerriereLuxury. This line was designed by a group of young designers and artists in exclusive for DerriereItalia.
